Buying an N.A. Plot in the Konkan Belt: A Simple Guide
Non-agricultural plots on the coast are a popular second-home investment. Here is what “N.A.” means and the documents to check.

Pawan S. Rathi

An N.A. (non-agricultural) plot is land that has been officially converted for residential or commercial use. Only N.A. land can be used to build a home without additional conversion approvals.
Documents to check
Ask for the N.A. order, the 7/12 extract, the approved layout plan, the title search report and the sale deed chain. We share all of these for every project we offer.
Why the Konkan belt?
Better road connectivity and growing tourism have made the coast a favourite for holiday homes and long-term land investment, at prices still well below established hill stations.
